Journalist Arian Çani, commenting on Prime Minister Edi Rama's visit to Tirana City Hall on the occasion of awarding the title of Honorary Citizen to Ali Ahmet, said that he does not believe that Rama has "released" Veliaj.
Invited to the 'Now' show on 'Euronews Albania', he stated that if Rama had released Veliaj, he would not avoid this ceremony that he could have organized somewhere else and not in the municipality.
" I defend the hypothesis that for me Rama has not released Veliaj and I have a reason to think so, that Veliaj is one of the great cornerstones for the campaign for the upcoming elections and I make a simple calculation, this SP leadership does not hide the game anymore, it doesn't go with the honesty card. They are going with the card that the fault is individual, if you have something for me, says Rama, go to SPAK, Veliaj is doing the same.
