Journalist Klodiana Lala spoke about the appearance of DP MP Belind Këlliçi today at SPAK.
According to her, Këlliçi appeared in the context of a property investigation related to the "Partizani" file and former Prime Minister Sali Berisha. Lala added that SPAK investigations are underway against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his family members.
She explains that every person accused of corruption is subject to asset verification, while in this context, investigations also extend to political activities related to the process of re-establishing the Democratic Party.
"MP Këlliçi was questioned by investigators from the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH) regarding the organization and financing of a political activity, specifically the National Assembly of the Re-establishment of the DP, held on December 11, 2021. This activity coincided with the clash between Sali Berisha and former DP leader, Lulzim Basha, over the issue of the party's seal.
"Kelliçi was asked about the way the Assembly is organized, the sources of financing and whether these were carried out in accordance with the legislation in force. As part of the same investigation, it is expected that MPs Flamur Noka and Albana Vokshi will also appear before SPAK," Klodiana Lala told "News 24".
According to the journalist, it remains to be seen whether this investigative process will lead to new developments or results in the future.
