The threats of prosecutors from crime gangs have alerted the police chiefs, SPAK and the Ministry of the Interior.
According to TCH, the High Prosecution Council is meeting today at 11:00 a.m. after the threat to the life of prosecutor Doloresa Musabelliu, who was taken under the protection of SPAK.
Decision of the Council of Ministers number 114, states that in case of danger to the prosecutor's life, the KLP commission meets to decide on his special protection. This preservation must be requested in writing by the magistrate, the General Director of the Police or the Director of the Prosecution.
The head of SPAK Altin Dumani, minister Taulant Balla, head of the guard, General Director of Police Muhamet Rrumbullaku and prosecutor Kreshnik Ajazi were also called to the meeting.
We remind you that today the ex-prosecutor of Lushnja Merita Selimi was taken into custody by the police after it is suspected that she was targeted to be killed by Laert Haxhiu's group.
Merita Selimi will be accompanied by State Police officers wherever she is on the move.
The name of the ex-prosecutor of Lushnja emerged from the testimony of Artan Tafani, the justice associate who discovered Laert Haxhiu's group and disclosed 6 murders committed by this group.
According to his testimony before the investigators, Laert Haxhiu sought to kill Merita Selim after investigating him and his associates for a murder.
The former prosecutor of Lushnja was disqualified from the vetting.
The State Police also took into custody the prosecutor of SPAK, Doloresa Musabelliu, immediately after the repentant Artan Tafani confessed that the leader of the group, Laert Haxhiu, had planned to eliminate her or a relative.
The prosecutor of the strong cases in SPAK, most recently the massacre of the Vajgurore bridge, was targeted by the strongmen of Lushnja, after she demanded life imprisonment for two of Haxhiu's friends, Orges Bilbili and Anterio Kaloshin.
The defense of prosecutor Musabelliu was requested from the police by the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani.
