Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço has stated that attacks on SPAK by politicians, both from the left and the right, must be stopped.
Invited to the show "360 Degrees", he said that SPAK is being attacked because it has two main targets: organized crime and politics, and no one can like their actions. Karamuço emphasized that despite the statements, no one can dissolve SPAK.
" There are many guarantees that SPAK can regulate during these procedures. No other power can correct it, every procedure within the judicial power is self-corrected. You cannot dissolve a person even with 94 votes, you cannot control him politically over specific files. You can only control the progress of the affairs, how they are in relation to the citizens, but not by getting involved in a specific issue, because independence belongs not only to the power, but to every prosecutor for the file that he has in pursuit of from his superiors.
We have this written in the constitution and these are principles that come to us from the American Constitution and in our days. I am not saying that it is intimidated, of course it is attacked because SPAK, organized crime and politics have two main targets and no one can like its actions. These are actions that put the class of officials and then organized crime in front of responsibility, there will definitely be a cost. But we call for a stop to personal attacks on politics" , said Karamuço.
