Prime Minister Edi Rama has traveled to Paris, where he will participate in a meeting organized by French President Emmanuel Macron, in support of Ukraine.
"Ahead of the summit of the Coalition of Willings for Ukraine, convened by President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysée Palace, we met with the Minister of Justice of France, Gérald Darmanin, to talk about the participation of French partners in the reflection group on the issues of criminal policy in Albania and the consolidation of the new draft of the Criminal Code, in full harmony with European standards and best practices," Rama wrote on the social network.
Citing reports from the Council of Europe, Prime Minister Rama has previously criticized detentions in Albania, which he says are above normal figures.
