The creation of a sovereign Bektashi state, the Islamic Associations warn of protest before the Muslim Community

Prime Minister Edi Rama's proposal for the creation of a sovereign state of the "Bektashi Order" has provoked the reaction of several religious associations and civil society.

A group of Islamic associations such as Majlis, TUMED, Call to Mercy, the Albanian Union of Theologists and Free Palestine will protest this Tuesday at 17:00 in front of the Muslim Community under the slogan "Not in my name".

In the protest, the focus will be on the latest proposal for the establishment of an Islamic Bektashi state inside Albania, as well as the meeting of the vice president of the Muslim Community with the president of Israel, Isack Herzog, during the visit to our country on September 12 will be condemned.

"Genocide is being committed in Palestine. The Vice President of the Muslim Community and the Prime Minister of Albania are expecting and supporting the president of the genocidal state," the announcement reads.
