Parliamentary life seems to return to normal soon, as the majority and the opposition have agreed in principle on several points.
Analyst Genc Burimi has commented on the political situation in the country. He said that things would reach this point and everything started to change after Gazment Bardhi joined Berisha's group.
"If we look at it in the long term, since the declaration of Berisha non grata, we would have reached this point. It was thought that Berisha would surrender, but he resisted against all expectations. This gave Rama a narrative in front of the Westerners, that I "am the only one who controls the country". Things started to change when Bardhi moved to Berisha's side," said Burimi.
According to him, the opposition has won the most in this period, however, he does not expect the majority to allow the establishment of investigative commissions for issues that are already under investigation by the judiciary.
"Undoubtedly, he won more opooizta, because if we take Rama's statements that he did not negotiate with the non grata and those who are close to the non women. I am not optimistic. How do you think this majority will allow parliamentary commissions to be created with the old formula? It means that it will respect the position of the Constitutional Court. Which means that the object of the investigation cannot go to the investigation. Once again, Rama retreats not to move," he said.
The source also stated that it would be in Rama's interest to hold elections before 2025, since in this way they will be recognized by the US. This is because the USA holds elections in November of this year and it is not known how the political developments will be during the next year.
"For me at the current stage, Albania does not have elections in 2025. In this case, Rama has an interest in holding the elections before the American elections, so that this administration can recognize the victory", said Burimi.
