Tirana is getting ready to host the Summer Day celebrations on March 14.
The municipality of Tirana has organized a number of different activities in the capital with music, art, games and entertainment.
In order to guarantee the success of these activities and to give the citizens the opportunity to celebrate peacefully, the Municipality of Tirana, in cooperation with the State Police, has taken all measures to restrict the circulation of vehicles on some of the roads, where planned development of activities.
More concret:
1. Limiting the circulation of vehicles for the smooth running of the activities organized by the Municipality of Tirana within the framework of "Summer Day 2024", on March 13, 2024 from 12:00 to March 14, 2024 at midnight, in the following segments: - Boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" from the Ministry of the Interior to the beginning of the "Former Hotel Dajti";
- "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard from "Ish-Hotel Dajti" bridge to the intersection with "Ismail Qemali" street;
Boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" from the intersection of "Ismail Qemali" street to the intersection with "Gjergj Filipi" street;
"Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard from the intersection of "Gjergj Filipi" street to the beginning of "Mother Teresa" square; –
The segment of "Pjeter Bogdani" street from the intersection with "Ibrahim Rugova" street to the intersection with "Vaso Pasha" street, from 12:00 to 23:00;
"Ibrahim Rugova" street from the intersection with "Brigada VIII" street to the intersection with "Ismail Qemali" street, from 12:00 - 23:00.
2. The movement of vehicles, emergency vehicles and the State Police will take place according to the movement plan, as follows:
- On "Lek Dukagjini" street, "Abdyl Frashëri" street, "Andon Zako Çajupi" street, "Papa Gjon Pali 11" street, "Sami Frashëri" street, on "Zhan D' Ark" Boulevard and "Bajram Curri" Boulevard.
3. The route of movement of urban lines will continue the movement as follows:
Line No. 13 "New Tirana" and Line No. 2 "Old Sauk Street — Zoo — Former Train Station" will detour to "Willson" Square and "Zogu I" Boulevard.
