Scenes from the fire and protests

Following protests over water, a large-scale fire broke out this evening in Tragjas...

Anyone who opposes Edi Rama is destined to burn in “Hell.” If Babloku wants something, no one should oppose it, because gangs, oligarchs, and the tender mafia will destroy your home and property.

This is the unfortunate fate of the residents of Tragjas, who tonight are suffering the consequences of the war they waged to protect the water in their homes. The only thing they have left is water, and the government is trying to take it away through mafia methods.

A large suspicious fire broke out this evening in Tragjas. Aided by strong winds, the fire is spreading rapidly.

As can be seen from the footage, the flames have consumed a very large area, while for a long time there has been no intervention. The fire brigade was recalled late, only at the moment when the entire hill was red with flames.

But the current decline of this fire is very suspicious. After they took the water, it seems that they are now setting it on fire.

The residents of Tragjas have been protesting against the construction of a new water supply for some time. The National Water Supply and Sewerage Agency has spent 7 million euros to take the water from Tragjas and transport it to Orikum. The residents have clashed violently with the police. During the protest on March 4, there were two hours of intense tension and conflict.

The protesters say they will not allow the extension of the water supply pipelines to the Izvor spring, as they have based their household economy precisely on this spring, which they use to irrigate agricultural lands. Recently, agrotourism has also been developing in the area. According to them, the Ministry of Infrastructure should invest in supplying drinking water to the residents of this area, and not to the resorts on the other side of the coast.

But it seems that now the gangs have come into play. While the residents do not allow the construction of the water supply, now they have set fire to it. The fire is of frightening proportions and we hope that it will not have any consequences for the residents. But it seems that such a thing "smells". / Pamphlet
