Analyst Ervis Iljazaj expressed disappointment with the opposition candidate lists.
He said he expected more courage from Berisha regarding the names that would be decided to run, adding that the opposition did not dare.
Iljazaj emphasized that in Albania, the lists are made by party leaders and that everything was in the hands of Rama and Berisha.
He expressed the desire that those who have been included in the open list of the DP be on the closed list and vice versa, those who are on the closed list be on the open list.
"The lists were made by Sali Berisha and Edi Rama and any further discussion about this is pointless. The opposition, since it does not have the means of power, has the duty to make a better list. Making lists is a headache for the leaders, even more so for the DP, which had allies. In the Socialist Party, I see a clear methodology, there is a principle of promotion, electoral engineering - good, bad, we discuss this. In the DP, I hoped that it would be more courageous, but it seems to me that the lists are without courage and as if they did not dare. Berisha should have dared, I do not see any novelty, I do not see any innovation. The open list of the DP should have been a closed list, while the closed one should have been open - that is, inverted logic. I am not talking about the primaries, which I was against, because they create these political problems. It has been in opposition for 12 years, it has a worn-out government, I would like it to dare with more courage. "It seems like they have a solid defense, but they have no talent in attack," said Iljazaj.
