"Fight" for justice/ KLP elects SPAK head on December 11, BKH director

Fierce battle behind the scenes for the head of SPAK and BKH...

The head of SPAK is expected to be elected on December 11. The High Prosecutorial Council appears to have formalized the date when the 4 candidates will be questioned and the vote is expected to take place within the same day.

A few days ago it was announced that the hearing would be on December 4, but according to journalist Anila Hoxha, the KLP has decided today that the hearing will be held on December 11.

Prosecutors Adnand Xholi, Klodian Braho, Doloreza Musabelliu and Elvin Gokaj, after being heard and questioned, will be voted on. Altin Dumani's mandate ends on December 18 and he is expected to hand over the task to his successor on the same date.

According to sources, there have been strong movements behind the scenes for months regarding the new leader. Altin Dumani himself is lobbying hard to appoint Klodian Braho.

" Pamphlet " itself has denounced how bargains were made with KLP members by granting amnesty in the vetting process or by employing the children of members in SPAK. On the other hand, insiders say that the government itself is trying hard to place a loyalist there, especially after the developments of recent days, where SPAK has risen to number two in the government.

But the dirtiest game seems to be taking place for the head of the BKH, where there are at least two groups that are clashing. The new head of the BKH should have been elected on August 31, but the procedures have been delayed day after day. During the report to the Assembly, the head of the KLP, Mirela Bogdani, said that the new leader will be elected before November 10.

" Regarding the process of the head of the BKH, in communication with the structures of the Special Prosecution Office, due to the somewhat prolonged verification of applications for candidates, the process will be finalized around November 10 ," she said.

But this date also failed. SPAK has not yet finalized the process of verifying the image and assets of the 7 candidates for the head of the BKH. In the end, the 3-member commission (Altin Dumani, Arben Kraja, Behar Dibra) must select a name and send it to the KLP. Dumani himself is fighting to put a loyalist there, but is not getting approval from the other two members, where it is said that there was also a clash with Arben Kraja.

On the other hand, there is talk that politics has also intervened. Government bodies are delaying the return of answers on the vetting that is being done for the 7 candidates. Meanwhile, there is interference even in the KLP. So, it seems that a dirty game is being played behind the scenes and it is not surprising to have surprises in the names of the two main bodies of the anti-corruption fight. /Pamphlet
