Lawyer Edmond Petraj said that the Court has interfered in the powers of the executive branch with the decision to suspend the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, from office.
He stressed that Rama's move to send Balluku's dismissal for interpretation to the Constitutional Court is within the rules and the law, while he believes that its decision will go in favor of Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
"It seemed like an absurd decision to me and I say this again. The judiciary has intervened in the executive branch, this is a fact. The dismissal of a minister or deputy prime minister is done by the prime minister. Rama has done what the law says, what the Constitution says.
The requests that Rama has made and the interpretation that will be made by the Constitutional Court are within the rules. I think that the judges of the Constitutional Court should sit down and read the Constitution correctly. The prosecution should not interfere in the part of the government cabinet.
"I think that at this point, the Constitutional Court, after analyzing, I think it will give a report that the judiciary has no right to interfere with the executive branch . Rama has acted according to the Constitution, now it is at the discretion of the Constitutional Court to decide," he told "Abc News".
He emphasized that the justice reform has its defects and problems, which must be carefully reviewed and reviewed.
"There are elements that have not been encountered before. The justice reform has defects, there are problems. We need to work on this aspect. We need to look at some elements carefully," he said.
