Lawyer Arben Llangozi has spoken about the criminal report he made against former Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu, stressing that she is more involved than former Minister Beqaj.
According to Llazngozi, with her inaction, she has caused the state budget a damage of nearly 10 million euros. Meanwhile, the lawyer asked SPAK to investigate Manastirli's property.
"It is not only Mr. Beqaj who is implicated, we have others. We have Manastirliu, who is more involved than Mr. Beqaj. This commission will collect facts and evidence that can open a more in-depth investigation. Manastirliu is a person under investigation. Investigations are continuing. It is a separate file, outside the file where Mr. Beqaj is under investigation. I can say that in the case of sterilization, a file other than that of Mr. Beqaj, Ms. Manastirliu is also being investigated, because it has caused damage to the state of 10 million euros. We have factions, we should not prejudice the commission of inquiry. I have filed a report for Ms. Manastirliu for abuse of office, corruption and money laundering. As soon as he came to the head of the ministry, he did not take measures to prevent damage to the state budget by inaction or on purpose. Inaction has brought a damage of around 10 million euros to the state budget. The purpose is the corrupt action, her assets should also be investigated. I know that Manastirliu has been called for this case. The implementation of the contract by Ms. Manastirliu has caused damage. The institutions have notified her, she has not taken any measures," Llangozi told MCN.
