Lawyer Spartak Ngjela has stated that if Albania does not get rid of high state corruption, it will disintegrate.
Ngjela said that before she fled Albania, the American ambassador, Yuri Kim, told her during a conversation that SPAK prosecutors are scared and that she had asked them to protect her.
" Why are you exaggerating? It's still liberal. Some time ago, before the mother-in-law left, I had a conversation, they told me they were scared, I asked them to protect them, like in the west. Crime kills you. What do you know about corruption? It is high-level criminality, there can be no corruption if it has not worked with the market, it is dangerous corruption. Several ministers, mayors, former prime minister have been taken into criminal proceedings. They got mayors, but they need to be tougher. If SPAK, which was established by Washington and they run it, if Albania does not get rid of corruption, dissolves, 30-40% of the corrupt are with Belgrade. Courts that crack down on crime do not need popular support. Justice has its own exit rule in a democratic state. If the high state corruption was not hit by SPAK, Albania consists. I have never talked about a scenario, the American interest in Albania is very great. The lawyer further stated that in the beginning SPAK had its own problems, but now it seems to have overcome them. He emphasized that SPAK will bring to justice all those who have abused their power.

SPAK has emerged, it had its problems, now it seems that it has passed. There is a former prime minister arrested, several ministers and a former deputy prime minister who escaped. They have entered the normal path of the law and the constitution. Justice is not given by the people, it is given by the people, but you have to have another judicial system, with that commission, like the American court. It's not called a purge, it's called there is evidence or there is no evidence of corruption. All Albanians know that there was corruption. The people know that they paid to get a license, but there was no justice. This corruption, will SPAK take it with evidence, accuse it? I say yes, but you have to wait. I know what he did. How can I not be optimistic?
