Analyst Genc Burimi said that the agreement between Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Italian counterpart, Georgia Meloni, will bring big problems for Albania, since our country is not able to manage such a flow.
In a link to News 24, he stated that Meloni turned to Albania, after the failure he had in Tunisia to reach such an agreement. He added that for Italy this is an achievement, since it does not pay anything to Albania.
He further added that one of the dangers that threatens the country is the creation of a migrant trafficking network that will find other alternative routes to send them to Europe.
" This agreement is Meloni's crisis. Meloni tells the EU that this agreement is so good that you want to ask for it later for other countries as well. Albanians should know where Meloni comes from, from a long failure with Tunisia. Since May they said "Well done, we made it". Since May, Tunisia accepted, that it accepted, and finally the first check of 900 million euros went to Tunisia. In October, she receives a check of 65 million euros and she does something unprecedented for the EU, she returns it. Meloni brings the Foreign Minister and Tunisia refuses. Seeing where Meloni comes from is an incredible failure as nearly 30% comes from there. When you have a partner in front of you not like the Tunisian dictator, but like Edi Rama who says I don't want anything, of course this is an achievement. These people who can't get status and can't transfer, what does that mean? Rama admits that they will go towards the north, that is, Northern Europe.
So we will have a network of traffickers. The Prime Minister arrives at a crazy, extraordinary account. Hundreds and thousands will land in Albania. Rama seemed to say that this is not what will solve Italy's problems, but it will not destroy Albania's problems. 300 people get status, Italy takes them with a charter to Rome, while 2700 others remain on the road and Albania will not be able to do anything. These people are not returnable as the law requires the host country to issue a document. Only France does this with Algeria and Morocco exerting pressure. Italy is transferring this problem to Albania. France is also facing this problem. England gives him 100 million euros a year not to allow.
Why doesn't France take these people to their countries? The same thing happens in the south. On the French side, with Italy you have almost a state of war because of immigrants who want to enter France and then want to go to Britain or somewhere else. This agreement is ill-conceived and after a few years, Albania will be filled with hundreds of thousands of immigrants, who at least will suffer and at worst will feed an extraordinary traffic of human beings where the police are corrupted. We will leave the nam grain" , he emphasized.
