The purpose of signing this Agreement between the two heads of prosecution institutions foresees close cooperation and coordination of the actions of both prosecutions in important areas of the fight against crime.
The head of the Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime of the Republic of Albania (SPAK), Altin Dumani, and the Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, Blerim Isufaj, signed on October 10, 2023 in Pristina, an Agreement forming the Unit of Joint Investigations, composed of special prosecutors from both respective prosecutions.
The purpose of signing this Agreement between the two heads of prosecution institutions foresees close cooperation and coordination of the actions of both prosecutions in important areas of the fight against crime.
The head of the Special Prosecutor's Office, Dumani, and the Chief Prosecutor of the PSRK, Isufaj, have assessed the signing of this Agreement as important, stressing that this is a step towards improving security and the rule of law in the two respective states, as well as towards building a strong partnership between the two institutions of justice.
The signatories of the Agreement pledged close cooperation in combating all forms of crime that affect the economic, financial and social interests of both countries.
