The Court of Durrës has declared incompetence for examining Fredi Beleri's file.
Today, a hearing was held at the Court of Durrës for the review of Fredi Beler's request to be released temporarily in order to take his oath as mayor of Himara.
The Court of Durrës declared incompetence and forwarded the request to the Supreme Court for interpretation.
As it happened before, there was high interest in today's session. The Greek ambassador and head of PBDNJ, Vangjel Dule, was also present there.
The request for permission was examined by the Court of Durres as he is in custody in Durres, but also because the Special Court initially declared incompetence.
We remind you that on October 12, the Special Court will hold the first hearing for the trial based on the file in charge of Fredi Beleri, who is accused of being involved in corruption in the May 14 elections.
The candidate chosen to lead the Municipality of Himara will be judged by the usual process, according to his choice, and dozens of witnesses and the video and audio evidence that SPAK says it has against him will appear in front of the court.
Beler has denied the accusations and claims that through evidence he will prove his innocence.
