Journalist Artan Hoxha spoke about drug baron Dritan Rexhepi. He tells how he had contacted Rexhepi while he was in prison in Ecuador.
Hoxha said that at that time his name was mentioned as being involved in the disappearance of Jani Prenga, and he said that he had wanted to contact him. According to him, Dritan Rexhepi also wanted to meet him, as he wanted to clarify his role in this event.
Hoxha stated that it was Dritan Rexhepi himself who initially contacted him to say that he had no connection to this event and that he wanted to clarify the situation for the victim's family.

He spoke from the phone of some important convict there, while the phone I spoke to was that of a relative of his. He told me that I want to clarify my position, because I am not involved in this story, I have my convictions, but I have no hand in this story. I want to clarify the victim's family.

I gave him a very long interview and I set a condition for him to send me photos from prison. He sent me photos from the cell. I only asked for some elements of certainty about who I was talking to.
