Gjekmarkaj accuses the police of violence against him...

The deputy and deputy speaker of the Assembly, Agron Gjekmarkaj ended up in the hospital this evening, after losing consciousness during the protest.

A little while ago, the head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, visited him to see his condition closely. Berisha said that Gjekmarkaj is fine and today he will remain under the monitoring of doctors. The MP himself also spoke, accusing the police of violence.

"  I told them I'm the vice-president of the Parliament, I'm a university professor... They didn't even look me in the eye. They put pressure on my chest and I was out of breath ," says Gjekmarkaj himself.

Berisha also accused the policemen of having violated Gjekmarkaj and as a result he lost consciousness. According to him, the order came from Rama.

" The professional criminals hit him in painful areas and he lost consciousness. It is surrounded by 15 policemen, of which 3 are chiefs of police stations. Mr. Gjekmarkaj was a target ordered by Edi Rama. His companion, a Guard employee, showed the police the Guard document, while the uniformed drug bandits dragged him away. They shot him, otherwise why would he lose consciousness? They shot him and when he lost consciousness they realized what he was doing. The act is a repeated public crime. To take and kidnap Agron Gjekmarkaj as the most aggressive protester, you are kidding yourself. It was Edi Rama's order, the behavior towards him ", said Berisha after leaving the hospital.

Meanwhile, the police also reacted. She rejected the accusations that MP Agron Gjekmarkaj was hit by police officers at the moment he lost consciousness during the rally in the "Palace with Arrows" area.

" The State Police refutes as completely untrue the statement in the media of Mr. Sali Berisha, where he claimed that MP Agron Gjekmarkaj was beaten by police officers. Deputy Gjekmarkaj was not hit by any police officer, but, from the first data, it appears that he did not feel well in terms of health and left the protest. The State Police regrets these statements and, above all, the violent actions of MP Flamur Noka, who not only disobeyed the Police order to clear the road, but also violently objected, pushing, insulting and hitting Police officers who were on duty to clear the road for the free movement of vehicles and citizens ," the police said.
