Humanitarian organizations that provide medical services to refugees and that have called on the white shirts not to go to Gjadër. The groups criticized international organizations apparently helping the project, such as the International Organization for Migration and the Italian rescue corps of the Knights of Malta, as "collaborators" in human rights abuses.
"The Italy-Albania protocol violates the code of medical ethics and human rights and puts the physical and psychological health of immigrants at risk," the statement said.
