The head of the democratic parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, went to SPAK today regarding some blackmails that were made to him via e-mail.
Bardhi entered the premises of the special prosecutor's office around 15:00, as the head of the parliamentary group had an incident.
The car that brought him there also hit a motorcyclist who was crossing the road.
Gazmend Bardhi publicly denounced and revealed some SMS that have come to his communication platform in "Signal" where the name of Ervis Martinaj is mentioned and asked SPAK to investigate.
Gazment Bardhi, in the letter sent to the Special Prosecutor's Office, indicates that the message came from an unidentified number, with the username "Mbreti Zog".
"Ervis Martinaj, Erigers Mihasi, be well", is written in the SMS sent to the head of the DP Group, a message he attached to the letter sent to SPAK.
Bardhi says that the messages are an attempt to intimidate him in the exercise of my duty as a deputy of the Assembly of Albania and as Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party.
"The content of the messages sent, the fabrication of circumstances and facts that did not occur, the association of my name with individuals completely unknown to me, aims to intimidate me in order not to face concrete facts of illegality, special subjects or exponents of organized crime, which are under investigation or verification by the Special Prosecutor's Office Against Organized Crime and Corruption", he emphasized.
Gazment Bardhi has requested from SPAK the verification of the messages, according to him, of an intimidating nature for the identification of the author/s, the motives for sending them, and the reasons for the production of a forged document.
