Journalist Lavdrim Lita publicly criticized the activity of ministers on social networks, calling it a serious problem that affects the image and seriousness of the government. He focused on the Albanian minister, who in just three months has posted over 800 photos and videos, while his counterparts make an average of three posts in the same period.
Lita emphasized that this behavior is scandalous and that in a normal state, a rule should be established that limits this type of activity.
" If ministers spend time posting photos and videos instead of dedicating themselves to their duties, this should be banned, even on legal grounds," he said on the "Off the Record" show on "A2CNN."
The journalist warned that the Albanian parliament has approved around 14,000 laws over 30 years, but many of them are not interconnected and hasty changes could create uncertainty in law enforcement. He suggested a one-year moratorium on laws and ministers' activity on social media, to regain focus on serious work and the efficiency of the administration.
