Eight police officers were injured in the opposition protest in front of the parliament building. After protesters threw Molotov cocktails into the police cordon, some of them were engulfed in flames.
The officers were transported for medical assistance after suffering burns and physical injuries from hard objects.
"During the rally in front of Parliament, as a result of the attack with Molotov cocktails, pyrotechnics and hard objects, three police officers were injured and transported for medical assistance, after suffering burns and physical injuries from hard objects. Throughout the rally, 8 police officers were injured ," the police announced.
