A foreign journalist has been injured during the opposition protest held in front of the Parliament building. According to preliminary information, it is a foreign citizen who was reporting from the protest.
In the footage shared from the scene, voices are heard claiming that he is an "American journalist who does a podcast," however this information has not been officially confirmed so far.
The journalist felt unwell when the police intervened using tear gas to disperse the protesters. As can be seen in the footage, he showed signs of distress and needed immediate assistance.
Other protesters, as well as police officers, intervened to help him, giving him water and removing him from the area of the clash.
To date, there has been no official response from the authorities regarding the journalist's health condition or the exact circumstances of the incident.
