Firefighters are trying to get people trapped in the shopping center but also in the entire 12-story building, where there are also apartments.
There are no exact figures on how many people are inside the building and how their condition is. According to reports, the situation is serious, while there are also family members who do not answer the phone.
Smoke engulfed the building from all sides. The firefighting forces of national security, of Kavaja and surrounding countries are also at the scene.
Firefighters intervened inside the building, but the lack of fire fighting equipment is noticeable.
Unfortunately, the building does not have an emergency exit.
Those who left the building are being transported to Lushnja hospital.
