The director of the Shkodra Police, Edmond Sulaj, was asked today during the press conference for the "Bjeshket" operation if he received threatening messages.

Sula: It's not true at all. I live the normal life of a simple Shkodran citizen and I am not afraid.
Meanwhile, a joint operation between the Albanian and Montenegrin police has been finalized with the destruction of about 11,000 narcotic plants and the arrest of a 27-year-old man from Shkodra.
The plot with the narcotic plants was discovered on the border with Montenegro.
"Today, on 25.07.2024, in the early hours of the morning, after a several-week investigation, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Shkodër Court of First Instance, under difficult operational conditions, the police operation against the cultivation of narcotic plants was developed and finalized , in the territory of the Great Highlands, Kelmend administrative unit, Selcë village, in the place called "Bjeshket e Gërçe", near the border with Montenegro.
During the operation, 1 firearm, a ten-gauge rifle, with ammunition and 1 double shotgun that were possessed without a permit were found and seized as material evidence," the police announced.
