Snowfall continues to be present in the Shkodra region, among the most affected by bad weather due to strong winds and snowstorms.
While in the mountainous areas of the territory of the Shkodër Municipality, a significant decrease in temperatures has been noted.
Mayor Benet Beci, with a post on the Facebook social network, announced the latest situation and the measures taken.
The Bogë-Theth-Bregu i Lumi road axis is passable. As for the Kir-Shosh road axis, blocked due to landslides and snowfall.
"After the intervention of OSHEE employees, the electricity supply has been restored in the Administrative Units Rrethina Gur i Zi, Ana e Mali and partially in Velipoja and Shale. "OSHEE groups continue their work in the field to restore energy in areas where there are still problems caused by bad weather, including snowfall and wind storms," writes Beci.
He further appeals to drivers to be careful:
"In mountainous areas, traffic should only be carried out with winter tires and chains to ensure the safety of movement."
The Civil Emergency Structures of the Municipality of Shkodër are maintaining continuous coordination with the National Emergency Center for any situation that may arise from bad weather.
