The mayor of Vlora, Ermal Dresha, in a statement to the media, said that so far 30 families have been evacuated, while they have also made medical school dormitories available for those who will need them.

We are more concerned with the part of evacuation for people's lives, which is the most important, but until a little while ago, there were more than 30 families who were evacuated from their homes. Even construction companies have been made available to help us because it's a very large territory, I mean the hydrobor has always been in operation but with those rainfall flows it also went above sea level for a while, which was impossible to be in the right amount.
