Journalist and moderator Blendi Fevziu spoke about practicing this profession and undoubtedly the great challenges you have to overcome to resist any kind of competition or pressure.
He emphasized that even if you feel tired or have emotional problems, the moment you appear on screen, they should be eliminated.
He recounted in an interview for "Weekend" in Klan Kosova, a sad and perhaps the most difficult episode of his life, when despite two major losses, he had to continue with his journalistic mission. He recalled December 15 years ago, when he conducted an interview with former President of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi.
The day before, Fevziu says he said goodbye to his mother, and on the day he was supposed to conduct this interview, he lost another dear person.
“ The fact that I could have a temperature of 40, the fact that I could have a big problem are two things that you can’t take into account. I’m talking about a case that I’ve mentioned several times in Albania, but I don’t think I’ve mentioned it in Kosovo. In December 2010, my mother passed away in the US. We had to wait a week for the body to arrive and to hold the funeral ceremony, while I had scheduled an interview, because I was forced to record shows all week. At that time, Dick Marty had made the first accusations against Thaçi and I had scheduled an interview with Hashim Thaçi in Pristina at 9 pm, live on Klan Kosova. It was Thursday, my mother’s funeral took place on Wednesday. On Thursday morning, my mother’s uncle, who had lived at home with us and raised me, died. It was such a great pain… But amidst the pressure of the work that you have to do, I mean, I attended the funeral and I left at that time, and I arrived in Pristina at 9:20, when I was supposed to be live on the air at 9. But imagine the emotional state, the worry you have inside yourself. You can't reflect all this, because the viewer won't know it at all! On the screen you are the person who has to give the maximum , "said Fevziu. /Klan
