Peter Zingraf, the German Ambassador in Tirana, who exercised his function from 2019 to 2023, passed away on May 20, 2024.

Who was Peter Zingraff?
The former German ambassador in Tirana studied Romanistics (history of French and Italian literature) in Aachen, Poitiers-France and Florence-Italy. He has worked as a research associate at the universities of Aachen and Freiburg im Breisgau. Peter Zingraf is married and has two daughters.
As for his diplomatic career, it started in 1993 when he joined the Foreign Service.
