Ndrea Prendi testified at SPAK, the political scientist: "January 21"

The former commander of the Guard of the Republic, Ndrea Prendi, testified for more than three hours at the Prosecutor's Office the day before on the case of "January 21".

Political scientist Alban Daci in an interview on "Tirana Live" said that "January 21" is a serious event and that a final solution must be taken.

"I think it's a serious event that needs to be clarified. We need to reflect on the relationship between politics and citizens. We also have a political class that lives far from the reality of democracy that the country should have. It is an issue that must be finally resolved, especially for family members. It was a protest outside the democratic dimension. But if there is evidence and facts, justice must be done", said Daci.

He also emphasized that if there are guilty parties, according to him, only subordinates can be punished.

As for Ilir Meta's reactions regarding the "January 21" issue, political scientist Daci said on "Tirana Live" that it would be better for the head of the Freedom Party to remain silent.

"If there is anyone to blame, at most it will be those who were on the front line that day. If we were to take this situation from a political point of view, it would be better for Meta to remain silent. Politically, it would be better for Meta to remain silent on January 21", said Daci further.

Further in this interview, Daci spoke about the recourse of the DP seal, saying: "When the court itself gives the possibility to appeal a decision, the other interpretations are scandalous. It is normal for Mr. Basha's Group to demand his right. The absurdity is the fact about the way the events in DP have unfolded. We can have any kind of decision in justice. Even in the most advanced systems, judges or prosecutors can make mistakes, but I stick to the idea that if a fair decision is given, it will be a positive precedent for democracy.

The vote of the diaspora and the draft for the electoral reform.

Alban Daci: It is not a problem if the political parties find an agreement. But the problem is whether or not these agreements will serve the citizens. We have to see if this agreement is in the service of removing the monopoly of the party chairman, are they for the opening of the race? The vote of immigrants is an issue dealt with cunningly by Albanian politics. How is it possible that these two big parties do not have a secretariat for immigration, they do not have representatives of the diaspora in negotiations, so it is understandable how friendly they are towards Albanians living abroad.
