"What if I come for personal matters?"/ KLP member provokes Xholi,

The race for the new head of SPAK has entered the decisive phase today, as the candidates are giving their statements and answers before the KLP.

During his speech, Adnan Xholi praised the two predecessors of the Special Prosecution Office, Arben Kraja and Altin Dumani, as leaders with special skills, while emphasizing that he intends to take from them the best qualities to advance in the leadership of SPAK.

During the session, committee member Arta Mandro asked Xholi how he would guarantee his independence if, after the vote, she were to appear in his office for a personal matter.

Xholi replied that everyone is equal before the law and that no one's position would have any influence on his decision-making. He humorously added that he would respect her as a lady and "have her a coffee", but the decision would always be strictly legal.

Excerpts from the conversation:

Xholi: I appreciate the work of both predecessors (Dumani and Kraja), both have special skills, Kraja has a longer period in office. Dumani came at a different time, when he had a more complete and consolidated staff, the appropriate assistance, cooperation with internationals. I will seek to take from both of these leaders the qualities that I want to pass on further.

Arta Mandro: If I were to vote for you today and come to your office tomorrow for a personal matter, how would you take care not to violate my independence?

Xholi: I appreciate the position you have, but before the law you have no position, I will respect you as a woman, I will treat you like a woman with a coffee. But the choice will be legal. Most people like the coffee at SPAK.

Arta Mandro: I don't drink coffee at all

Jolie: Even better.
