The Italian network reacts after Edi Rama's accusations...
The Italian network of "Rai" has decided to respond to Prime Minister Edi Rama. After the warning that came from the author of the show "Report" and the vice president of the television that they will deal with this issue again on Sunday, the responses of the Secretary General of the government, Engjell Agaçi, have been published.
Rama claims that the journalist of the show sent some written questions to Agac and the latter answered them all, but they were not seen on the air. However, the television has published the answers and there Engjëll Agaçi admits two things. First, it has to do with the refugee pact.
" It is part of my current duties to look at all the documents presented to the Council of Ministers. So, even if I was not part of the group of negotiators for the drafting of the Protocol between Italy and Albania, I certainly gave my modest contribution ", he says.
But Agaçi also accepts the scandal that he was part of the process to donate land to the Italian general Fabricio Lisi. He was the head of the Interforce mission, which brought planes to monitor cannabis plots.
" On 31.03.2012, as a lawyer, I took on a formal task from the Court of Trieste, on behalf of the then Curator, to follow the documentary and material events of the True Trust of the late Mr. Salvatore Eftimiadi. I stopped the activity in question after I took the aforementioned institutional function and I communicated to the curator first verbally and then officially communicated also from the Law Studio, of which I was a part ", says Agaçi.
Former Italian general Fabricio Lisi, who was arrested for corruption and concealment of investigations in Naples along with 5 other people, is a well-known character in Albania. After retirement, Lisi came to our country where he got about 3 hectares of land and 8 apartments in Vlora through the help of Engjëll Agac. He got the land hiding behind the "Luca and Marco Eftimiadi" foundation and together with the board members signed a contract to acquire properties from Artur Shehu in 2015 in exchange for not claiming the lands of their ancestors in the coastal city.

Përgjigje: Më datë 31.03.2012, si Jurist, mora përsipër një detyrë formale nga Gjykata e Triestes, në emër të Kuratorit të atëhershëm, për të ndjekur ngjarjet dokumentare dhe materiale të Amanetit të Vërtetë të të ndjerit Z. Salvatore Eftimiadi. E kam ndërprerë veprimtarinë në fjalë pasi kam marrë funksionin institucional të sipërpërmendur dhe ia kam komunikuar kuratorit fillimisht verbalisht dhe më pas komunikuar zyrtarisht edhe nga Studio Juridike, pjesë e së cilës kam qenë.
Pyetje: – A është e vërtetë që në ushtrimin e profesionit tuaj si avokat në Itali keni kryer funksione asistence ligjore dhe/ose konsulence në favor të shumë shtetasve shqiptarë të përfshirë në procedimet penale për trafik droge në gjykatat italiane?
Përgjigje: Në veprimtarinë time të gjatë profesionale si avokat në Itali kam asistuar shumë shtetas italianë, padyshim edhe shqiptarë dhe komunitete të tjera të huaja në Itali. Në disa nga procedurat kam ndihmuar ish-klientët e mi të përfshirë në krimet e parashikuara me Dekretin Presidencial 309/90 (Ligji për Narkotikët).
Pyetje: – Konkretisht, a keni dhënë ndihmë ligjore dhe/ose këshilla për Renardo Nallbanin, Alxi Nallbanin, Dritan Nikollin dhe Artur Shehun?
Answer: I bring to your attention that Italian and European legislation on the protection of personal data prevents me from disclosing the names of my former clients, except with their consent. In any event, it is your right and right to access local court records for necessary checks. But I can absolutely rule out that the last name was a former client of mine.
Question: - Did you have a consulting role or any other role in the drafting of the Protocol between Italy and Albania for immigrants?
Answer: It is part of my current duties to look at all the documents that are presented to the Council of Ministers. So, even if I was not part of the group of negotiators for the drafting of the Protocol between Italy and Albania, I certainly made my modest contribution.
