Freezing the agreement with Kushner for Sazani, Ngjela: Rama should resign, the US does not want him

Lawyer Spartak Ngjela has commented on today's news that Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has frozen the agreement for the island of Sazan. 

Through a post on the social network 'Facebook', Ngjela states that based on this news, Rama should resign.

"The US postpones the agreement with Albania on the island of Sazan. The postponement of the agreement came after the total blockage of contacts with the White House, the refusal by Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio to meet Edi Rama at two world summits, the lack of congratulations for the victory in the May 11, 2025 elections, and the lack of any contact from the US Embassy in Tirana.

"This is the information. What will Edi Rama do now? It is normal that he should resign as Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania. It is understood that Rama has played politically against the United States of America. So? Of course he should resign ," writes Ngjela.
