About 29,000 students have filled out the A1 and AiZ forms, since July 15 they have started the procedures for applying to the university by entering the data into the U-Albania system.
Today, July 30 until August 4, candidates who want to pursue studies, including those who have completed higher secondary education abroad, after paying the application fee, will apply on the U-Albania portal through the online application form .
The application will be carried out on the basis of the average grade according to the relevant decision of the Council of Ministers for the criterion of the average grade and other defined criteria, choosing up to 10 (ten) study programs from the list of study programs offered.
According to the decision of the Ministry of Education, the payment of the application fee for the portal has not changed, it will be in the amount of 2000 (two thousand) lek and is carried out in the offices of the Albanian Post or in the second level banks, through the invoice for collection , which they download on the U-Albania portal. Even this year, the average that the universities have proposed for student candidates will be 6.5.
The largest public university, that of Tirana, has proposed 4577 quotas for the academic year 2024-2025. After completing the applications in the U-Albania portal, it will be seen how many have preferred to study in public higher education. For this new academic year, admission will be by competition in 4 branches, Medicine, Sports and Arts and Architecture.
