Journalist Klodiana Lala has provided more details regarding the international operation called "Ura" that took place in Albania and Italy, which hit a powerful criminal group based in the Shijak area, which was involved in trafficking hard drugs and money laundering.
In the studio of the "Opinion" show on TV Klan, Lala called the operation carried out as one of the most important strikes by the Special Prosecution Office since its inception.
" I would not call it a criminal group, but I would consider it one of the most important strikes of the Special Prosecution Office since the start of its operation in my view. The idea is that I will consider it a criminal organization because it has to do with a main group and several subgroups. Not only the Sky Ecc or EncroChat intercepts were used in this case, there are also three justice collaborators, one of whom is Nuredin Dumani, who spoke for the first time when Sky Ecc had not been dismantled regarding the activity of this group. There are several main characters who are considered... ", emphasizes the journalist.
Journalist Lala says that in the yard of the apartment of one of the main characters in the Durrës group that was hit by this operation a year ago, an amount of three million Euros in cash was found buried.
" Who are the main characters in the Durrës group? We are talking about Elvis Doçi, known as Visi i Pojës, who I see in the investigative file as the central figure, that is, the main wholesaler. He lives in Durrës. In the yard of one of his apartments, an amount of three million Euros in cash was found last year. It was found buried. It is a fact! ", says journalist Lala.
Meanwhile, as part of Operation "Bridge", 52 arrest warrants have been issued in Albania and Italy, of which 40 have been executed. "Bridge" was finalized in the early hours of this Wednesday, as a result of an investigation conducted by a joint investigative team between SPAK and the Italian prosecution. 21 of the security measures were issued in Albania.
