Several tour operators and employees of the Ministry of Tourism from Albania have remained stranded in Israel. In addition to Albanian residents living in Israel, some Albanian entrepreneurs who had gone for a temporary visit are also feeling the danger.

A day before the surprise attack from Iran, they participated in a tourist activity "Albania all senses" at the invitation of the Albanian ambassador Meri Kumbe in cooperation with the Israeli authorities where Israeli tourist operators were also present. A trip which was planned to last about five days but the missile attack disrupted their plan.

On April 11, they flew from Tirana to Tel Aviv, to return to Albania this Sunday. But the departure schedule at 5 am from the airport was canceled and now the 8 Albanians are forced to wait for the flights to open. Sources close to Top Channel indicate that the airline companies do not take over the flights in this situation and they have their hopes on April 19, when it is thought to organize a charter for them to Cyprus.

This information is confirmed for Top Channel by the Albanian Tourist Union. Immediately, the Albanian guests from Israel were taken into the security of the local authorities and are being accommodated in the Israeli capital in a secure accommodation facility located in an area close to the American embassy, in the Kempinski Hotel in Tel Aviv.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs announces that it is in continuous communication with all Albanian citizens who are in Israel, with temporary or permanent residence. As Minister Igli Hasani has reacted through a post on the "X" platform to Iran's attack on Israel, condemning the act and expressing his belief that this will bring great instability and destruction to the Middle East.

"Albania strongly condemns Iran's attack on Israel. This escalation is a serious threat to the security of Israel and the entire region. It risks bringing greater instability and destruction throughout the Middle East. Albanians in the region are advised to follow the instructions of local authorities for public security updates and to contact our embassies for assistance," writes Minister Hasani. / TCH
