Journalist Ferdinant Dervishi said that the former IT director at the State Police, Ervin Muça, a person not equipped with a security certificate, was deliberately taken to that post to interfere with the TIMS system. The journalist emphasized that the people who appointed Muça to that position are more powerful than the General Director of Police and the relevant minister.
According to him, the new IT director was appointed after the release of the TIMS data that sank Arben Ahmetaj, causing politics to panic and someone asking to intervene for something.
"He did not have a security certificate until the moment of his arrest. According to the law, this certificate is required on the first day of work, so it must be applied before if you are going to be placed in that job position. If you ask for a new one, you will start with the new one on the first day of work, since the work process dictates the level of security you should have. We learned that Ervin Muca was arrested and the question whether Tims was interfered with or not. I said that day that the Albanian state is not dead even though we have a dead government and dead police. The state has some good journalists and policemen who want the best for this country.
