Even though we are in the first days of January, it seems that the thermometer will mark as low as -6 to -7 degrees.
Meteorologist Lajda Porja said that this winter is relatively warm and that today the thermometer has marked -6.5 degrees in the district of Dibra and about -5 degrees in the district of Korça.
According to her, it is expected that in the following hours the temperatures will rise to 13 degrees, while the low and coastal areas still record high temperatures today.
According to Porja, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow there will be an increase in temperature, but at the weekend it will decrease again. Thus, in the mountainous areas at the weekend, the thermometer is expected to reach -6 or -7 degrees.
So, after January 15, it is expected that this significant improvement in temperatures.
"There are no signals for any extreme phenomenon, but the signals show that we are in normal conditions, and we will even have higher temperatures in the second half of January. We may have an episode that may last 3 or 4 days. We consider it a warm winter," Porja told News24.
