MeteoAlb's weather forecaster, Lajda Porja, has provided an overview of the meteorological situation in the country, emphasizing that weather conditions continue to be typical for the month of January, despite the fact that we are in February.
According to her, this morning was marked by low temperatures, with the thermometer dropping to -2 degrees Celsius, while precipitation was recorded in the northeastern areas of the country.
In the Korça Region, temperatures have reached -1 degrees.
Porja emphasized that, unlike other years when February is usually considered a dry month, this year is expected to be wetter and with temperatures higher than the seasonal average.
As for the coming days, she said that this week will be characterized by unstable weather. Only intervals of light rainfall are forecast for today, while a temporary cessation of precipitation is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday.
In the second half of the week, according to the weather forecaster, the weather will undergo changes, with Wednesday expected to mark a significant increase in temperatures, being considered one of the warmest days of this week.
