Analyst Neritan Sejamini debated with DP deputy Ervin Salianji about the opposition not changing in the last decade that it has been in opposition, not offering any new strategy for the governance of the country.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Sejamini stated that if PD does not open up and win the sympathy of broad sections of the population, especially the urban population, young people, women and foreigners, it cannot come to power. .
Conversation:
Neritan Sejamini: The strategy of the opposition has not changed at all, 12 years will pass until the next elections in a confrontation from which it will come out lost. One of the problems the opposition has is that it does not reflect, as it fails. The opposition insists with the same approach, with the same people, with the same words. Is there any organization or individual that stubbornly tries the same strategy for 12 years and does not change. Empowerment only comes through change. Today, PD finds it impossible to face only the power of Mr. Rama. The only way is to gain the sympathy of broad sections of the population, especially the urban population, young people, women and foreigners.
Going to the alley may be symbolic, but if a party is reduced to 3 square meters of the alley, every day like the evening round, they shout and talk about things that have nothing to do with Albanian citizens and democracy, this opposition has lost touch with reality .
We expect something else from the opposition, to change, to find new words, new ideas and new people. Now what, just because they are in opposition and demand accountability why don't you support us? That's the opposition? They just complain, complain, complain.
You will change, listen to someone to attract us and say: bravo!
Ervin Salianji: I think yes, we have to change, we have to reconceptualize being in opposition, we have to change the approach of being in opposition with the public, reopen to society, we have to redo that part of the DP by opening competition conditions .
Neritan Sejamini: Is there a plan for the deoligarchization of Albania? There is a plan against money laundering, a plan to change the economy when he comes to power that even this cursing and naming names is nothing, because people say names today more courageously than the opposition. Today, the problem is not that people do not know who is stealing and with whom, the problem is who are these people who will face this evil, but with everyone, not only with Rama, but also with the oligarchs, the media and how will this opposition get them out of the situation we are in? And here the opposition does not articulate anything.
Ervin Salianji: It is not true. PD has filed an anti-mafia law, related to what you call the de-oligarchization of society, how money should be filtered before entering the economy, for the port of Durrës, how to benefit the citizens and not just the builder.
Neritan Sejamini: These were all of Mr. Basha. Do you still have them?
Ervin Salianji: No, the Democratic Party filed them.
