The Special Court of Appeal has upheld the preventive seizure decision for 25 assets of Jamarbë Malltez.
Judge Iliriana Olldashi thus leaves in force the decision of one level below for the preventive sequestration of assets. In this way, the judge who freed Malltez from the measure of prison arrest, has not changed the decision of one level below for his assets.
"The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a monocratic panel composed of judge Iliriana Olldashi, today on 24.11.2023, announced the decision on criminal case no. 168 act, date 13.11.2023 registration, registered on the appeal of the appellant/person under investigation JM and the interested party AM, with object: "Appeal against decision no. 410, dated 20.10.2023 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime" which ruled on the imposition of preventive seizure on the items, and decided: Approval of decision no. 410, dated 20.10.2023 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime", the announcement states.
Meanwhile, two of the three SPAK requests for the exclusion of judge Ilirjana Olldashi from examining the appeal of Berisha and Malltez were rejected.
GJKKO Appeals Judge, Miljana Muça dismissed the 2 demands of SPAK.
