Expert Ervin Karamuço after the arrest of the former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako, has warned of other high-level arrests.
In an interview for "Top Talk", he said that soon another former mayor will be arrested, but did not give details about the case and who it might be.
He also commented on SPAK's decision to launch an investigation regarding the leak of investigative secrets. According to him, it is not the journalists' fault as the information does not flow directly to them. Karamuço explained that the first to hear the information are the deputies and politicians who then distribute it.
"I think yes, as far as I know, I don't know anything after this investigation that was opened. Journalists and the Committee of Journalists are being very smart at this time, simply by watching the entrances and exits to the SPAK institution, where the BKH and the Special Prosecutor's Office are located. They manage to decipher, their settings of what they are being called for, the previous cases that they have been investigated or involved in, that have become media, and they manage to give to some extent how far this investigation has gone and what investigations can be expected. And from what we have seen during this time, this has turned out to be very accurate. Those who were called, including Mr. Dako, immediately thought that something would happen. Now from the unhelpful things that will happen, and then information comes in a confidential way, so that SPAKU also knows, that does not come to journalists, nor to lecturers,", he said.
