Lawyer Spartak Ngjela has raised questions about the arrest of Vangjush Dako. The latter was handcuffed yesterday for abuse of office, for the construction of a palace and the construction of a promenade. But for Njëla, the situation is very complex and SPAK is not clear in its accusation. According to Njjela, the palace was damaged by the earthquake, but he cannot determine that the mayor was to blame.
" The process hasn't started yet and I don't know what to say. There is a rule in this case. The accusation says about a palace built with his permission, but it is not enough. Permission is granted, but it is a construction who has been. They say the earthquake knocked him down, they will investigate. Is it the constructor's fault? All this will come out of the investigation. We'll see, did the mayor violate them, didn't he ask them? Are they the ones who made the project vulnerable or do they have other orders that allowed the implementers? When it falls, the main ones are those who constructed it, not the one who gave the permission. It's a matter that can't be talked about now ", says Ngjela.
According to him, SPAK's actions are significant, but still not what everyone expects. According to Njjela, citizens expect arrests of ministers and former ministers. Even according to him, Rama was aware of Dako's exploits.
" I see the fact that SPAK is intervening as positive, but we are still in low ranks. How is it possible that the current prime minister is not related to the mayor of the second largest city in Albania. Whether he broke the law or not, he does not know the prime minister. There has been great corruption that has caused great damage to the Albanian society, the administration of this country for at least the last 20 years. We need to restore the situation in the function of the Albanian society. We are waiting for the new era. We see that SPAK has independence, but we also have a remark from the American ambassador, who said that SPAK is scared and bought. Has this changed? If not, all should be removed. If there are two "non grata" cases, it will be returned to the report ," he said in Fax News.
He then commented on the release of Saimir Tahir. The lawyer said that while the court has spoken, not much can be said in this aspect.
