Theft of data from TIMS, Ferdinand Dervishi: The IT director did not have a security certificate

Journalist Ferdinand Dervishi, speaking about the recent incident related to the copying of TIMS system data by the former IT director, said that Muca was in office without a security certificate.

According to him, without this document he should not have worked.

"When he returned the answer to Ervin Mucha, he said that he did not even apply. Until his arrest, Muca was never issued a security clearance. He was appointed in June 2023 and it is up to him to assume that he is not allowed to work without a security certificate. He has a deadline of three months to be equipped and one month if this AKSIK himself requests it. It falls to him since October, mid-October 2023 was the deadline for his equipment with safety certificates", said Dervishi.

The Director of IT at the State Police, Ervin Muça, was suspended from duty and placed under "house arrest" as he is accused of copying the data of the TIMS system of the State Police without authorization, an event on which a few days ago, a parliamentary investigative commission was also set up.
