Security expert and former police chief, Shemsi Prençi, has shed light on one of the greatest wounds of Albanian society: the plunder and concentration of lands in the hands of those who do not legally belong to them.
Prenç made direct accusations against politicians, local leaders, and groups linked to criminal interests, who, according to him, have illegally acquired large areas of land.
"Who owns these large lands? These large lands are owned by politicians, mayors and criminal groups that launder money in construction. Mostly, the oil barons of Bankers, who have the largest percentage of construction in Tirana. We should not be surprised who has taken the properties of Albanians and why citizens are suffering at the doors of the courts ," Prençi said on the "Oponencë" show on News24.
