The Appeal Court of Kosovo (GJKKO) has rejected a request by Argita Berisha and Jamarbër Malltez regarding the lifting of the seizure of assets seized by SPAK. The decision was given by judge Engert Pëllumbi.
The assets were seized as part of the investigations into the Partizani affair.
The assets of Argita Berisha and Jamarbër Malltez were seized after suspicions that they came from unjustified sources.
Jamarbër Malltezi is under indictment for corruption and money laundering in the "Partizani" case, and former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and several other associates are also being tried with him.
