BKH seizes documents, computers and mobile phones during checks
The Special Prosecution Office has deepened its investigations into health care affairs and concessions.
A few days ago, " Pamphlet " reported that the Bureau of Investigation had conducted a search of the company 'Evita SHPK'. But it seems that these searches were more in-depth, as agents also landed at the American Hospital and even seized the phone of the head of this hospital, Klodian Allajbeu.
This was confirmed today by the Special Court, after a lawsuit was registered by Allajbeu, who is seeking the return of his cellphone, claiming that it was seized without right. Along with it, there are also 8 other requests for the return of items from individuals associated with him.
The pharmaceutical company "Evita", linked to businessman Klodian Allajbeu, has been found to have won a tender in violation of procedures. This is a tender announced by the Centralized Purchasing Operator for equipment for cardiosurgery services, worth around 750 million lek. The economic operator "Evita Sh.pk" was declared the winner of the tender, disqualifying the other operator in the competition, even though it had the lowest bid.
Investigations have revealed that the pharmaceutical company, linked to the well-known businessman of the American Hospital, won the tender for cardiac surgery equipment, although it had offered about 120 million lek more than the other company in the competition. The total of what “Evita Sh.pk” is offering is about 660 million lek, while the other competitor offered about 540 million lek, with a significant difference, but was disqualified.
According to information, during the checks conducted by SPAK, documents, cell phones, computers and many other electronic devices were seized.
"Evita Sh.pk" is the company with which Klodian Allajbeu received the Dialysis concession worth 120 million euros. For this contract, Minister Evis Sala has requested an extension for another five years, worth an additional 25 million euros.
In addition to extending the dialysis concession, Minister Evis Sala included "Evita Sh.pk" on the list of reimbursed drug dealers, while giving the American Hospital the monopoly on thrombosis surgeries for 2026 with a profit of around 10 million euros per year.
Minister Evis Sala has been and continues to be the rector of "Western Balkans University", a private institution owned by the Klodian Allajbeu American Hospital, where she is paid 15 thousand euros per month. / Pamphlet
