Lawyer Ulian Barjami spoke after being released, saying that he did not use any threatening or unprofessional words towards the prosecutor during the court session in Elbasan.
Barjami indicated that it was the prosecutor who "took it personally" and spoke out in the courtroom, saying "I will arrest him" for him.
" I did not use any threatening or unprofessional words. When the footage was opened, it was understood that there were inconsistencies. There were inaccuracies in what was reported. The prosecutor used the phrase "I will arrest him", apparently he took it personally. My actions were legal ", declared Barjami on the show "Breaking".
The lawyer then explained how he had been detained at the initiative of the judicial police officer, a procedure that he said was illegal.
" I was called the next day by the judicial police officer, up until that moment there had been no report. She called me and said I want to meet you regarding a clarification. I want to clarify what the idea or meaning of this expression was.
I explained to him what it really meant. Then I left and he contacted me and said he would arrest you with an order. It is an illegal practice, arrest on the initiative of the judicial police, only happens in the case of flagrante delicto. On the day of the arrest, only my phone was seized, nothing else ," he said.
