The residents of Thumana have warned of an escalation of the protest, in case there is no reaction from the authorities.
Currently, residents have blocked the Thumanë-Kashar road axis, while there are dozens of police forces from FNSH and 'Shqiponja'.
They have emphasized that they will not move from the highway until their demands are answered.
"We will stay here until the morning if necessary, in case our demands are not met", said the protester Mariglen Doçi.
"It's worse than during the period of fascism," an elderly protester pointed out.
Afterwards, the residents of Thumana broke the Police cordon, while one protester fainted.
This has further aggravated the situation, while the residents have not withdrawn and have warned that they will stay all night. They even say that they will block the road until the morning in the hope that there will be a reaction.
This is the 6th protest of the residents of Thumanë, with calls to the authorities to have access to the Thumanë-Kashar highway.
We remember that in the previous protest, the police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse the residents.
